Preschool Field Trip - Great Arizona Puppet Theater

I am a bit behind in my blogging so I hope to catch up a bit tonight...we'll see if it actually happens! In August for Preschool we went to the Great Arizona Puppet Theater. We have been there many times before, we usually go there a few times a year. This time was particularily fun because he was going with friends & the story was "The Little Red Hen". His preschool teacher made sure the kids knew the story & we have also read it many times at home so I think Tyson was a bit more excited this time & enjoyed it more than ever before. After the show was over the kids got to go outside & each take their turns sitting in the police car outside. One of Tyson's friend's dad is a police officer & came to say hi. Tyson wasn't too sure about it but he at least went in and sat in the front seat. He was a bit shy but really seemed to be intrigued. I fear that I have made my kids fear police officers too much...because I'm always threatening if Tyson doesn't strap in the police are going to take me away. Hey...sometimes it's desperate measures to get kids to do stuff...right? :-)
