Catch up!

Whew! It has been 6 months since I have posted anything. I can't believe how fast time goes by. We have had a full last 6 months so I will attempt to catch up as best as I can. :-)

We'll begin with Easter...this year because there was so many people we went to the church and got together with Jason's family. We ate and had an Easter egg hunt with the kids. Nate helped hide them this year...at 14 I think he has had his fair share of egg hunting, but Tyson still enjoys it which makes it all worth it. Coloring eggs is of course a tradition. I still have memories growing up going to my grandma's house coloring eggs with my cousins and Aunts and Uncles. She would always have a paper egg tree that we could color and an egg hunt for her egg/candy baskets. I love to think back at how simple things were. The little paper baskets she would make each year and fill them with candy and an egg. There was no pinterest, google or Martha Stewart magazines (that she had around anyway!) but yet it didn't matter. Things didn't have to be outstanding, but they were memorable to us and it was the time spent with family that mattered. I love the memories and traditions we can share with our families and hope that our kids will remember them and cherish them as much as I cherish mine.
