Labor Day Weekend

This year for our get together with Jason's old Elders Quorum Presidency we went to St. George. One of the couples that used to live in Tucson moved to Salt Lake area and another couple moved to St. George so we figured this would be a great in between place to go. We were able to stay at our friend's house and had so much fun!!! We went to the conference center in St. George, the visitors center (unfortunately the temple was closed), Brigham Young's winter home (including the kids being able to touch President Young's prayer stool), a little bit of shopping, a very scary hike through the tiniest canyon I have ever seen (it was so tight even Jason couldn't get through it!), Hawaiin shaved ice, fabulous lunch at Kneaders and the highlight of the trip (besides seeing our friends) was getting to taste the Swig cookies! They were so amazing, I have been dying to get my hands on them ever since we left. It was so fun just to get the kids together to play and hang out. We feel so blessed that we have been able to continue these friendships throughout the years and what an amazing example these families have been in our lives. We love them dearly and look forward to getting together each year.
