Minnesota!

We almost didn't make it to Minnesota this year but we were able to get some cheap flights flying out of Mesa and into St. Cloud. It was a much farther drive but would have been worth it because of the savings in tickets...however, unfortunately I scheduled the wrong return date so we had to pay to switch it. :-( Not much of a savings after that lol...

We had a few days in the cities and of course spent some time at the Mall of America, Jason went to the annual car show with my dad and I was able to meet up with my two best friends from high school Nikki and Johnette, saw both of my Grandpa's this year and got to spend some time with my awesome Aunt Becky! Those are always highlights of our trip that we look forward to each year. Even though the weather was quite cool most of the days it was such a nice relaxing trip and much needed as we had such a crazy May and June with moving and remodeling the new house. Here are some of the highlights of our trip! We went to the batting cages, bowling, movies, Wizard of Oz children's museum, Mall of America and we even got to squeeze in a day of boating on a nice day. Don't mind the orange towel over my head. Let's just say the bugs were horrible this year!

Because we flew into and out of St. Cloud we went straight from the cabin to the airport which was a few hour drive, then of course a few hour wait till the flight left, 3 hr flight home and over an hour drive home to which our car barely made it home! We had to roll through several stop lights because as we were about 10 miles minutes from home our car started to stall every time Jason hit the breaks lol. I think it's time for a new car heh? We made it though and it was worth it!
