Valentine's Day

We like to celebrate Valentine's Day with the kids and go out on a date to celebrate with just the two of us on the weekend. A tradition we started a few years back was to heart attack our kids doors with all of the great qualities and talents they have. The kids have fun seeing what is on their door and of course what is on each other's doors. :-)

We started the day off with some breakfast (french toast casserole), took P-nut (with Nate) out of school for lunch and went to chick-fi-la & Dunkin Doughnuts, ate take out (Babbos...kind of a mess, remind me not to do that again on Valentine's Day) and put on a Valentine's scavengar hunt for the kids. Although our children are certainly not deprived of treats, there are things I never get (like fruit snacks and sugar cereal)that we like to get them for special occassions like holidays and trips. They are so funny...it's amazing how excited a kid can get over a box of cookie crisp!
Here are some pics of our day...
