This is the 3rd year now we have done our family Valentine's Party. We love it and it gives a great excuse to get together and play games! One of my personal favorite things to do. Our festivities included dinner and games. We did a heart hunt for the younger kids, a valentine trivia (famous couples in movies), a game (not sure what it is called) impersonating animals...I wish I had a name for it because it would sound so much cooler than what I just put. :-) Let's just say that the best part was seeing grown men impersonate their chosen animal...my dad a road runner, Jason a sloth (a favorite of the evening) and Troy a cricket. Something fun all the kids could play & it was great to see the adults get in on the action! Thanks Chris & Trish for thinking of such a fun game. I think it will be a new favorite!
We also had Jason's dad and wife bring our FHE lesson on Love. They have such a gift for that kind of stuff and really are able to capture everyone's attention.
