I've lived in Arizona now for 11 years and we have never been to the train park in Scottsdale! I have heard so much about it from other dedicated mother's who have brought their kids but I have always opted out because it was too far & well...too hot! Last month my parents stayed at a time share resort in Scottsdale and the train park was about 15 minutes away...the weather was nice & so we finally went! I loved it! It was so fun and the kids had a blast. I felt bad that my mom was not feeling well and didn't get to go. Now...I can cross that off my list of things to do and hopefuly sometime in the next 11 years I will get to go to the Grand Canyon!

The museum train was pretty cool. I have never actually been inside a train and this was the kids first time too. Tyson could not understand why this train wasn't moving and why we couldn't ride in this one.
I couldn't resist putting this picture in here. This was at the resort and we had put Tyson to bed earlier and then watched a movie....this was how we found him when we went to check on him.

Don't feel bad I have lived in Arizona for 27 years, and still have not been to the Grand Canyon. We ourselves have only braved the train park once. To far, to hot, and did I mention to far?
