Christmas...

CHRISTMAS DAY!
We are so lucky that our kids sleep in. Totally spoiled that is! Although they got to bed late so I'm not sure it's exactly a fair trade but we all know how much Jason and I are NOT morning people so I guess it works out good. The kids go up a little after 9 and we headed down for the beginning of a long but wonderful day. I took a lot of video from our digital camera so I didn't get too many pics but here are a few of the kids...

Nate and his lego house...Jason and Nate had this built by the next morning. I think Lego's are the best invention yet! Although I have to say I am constantly finding tiny lego pieces around the house...ugh!

Cereal boxes? Those were from Santa of course...since I'm such a mean mom and won't let my kids have sugar cereal...Santa always hooks them up with some for Christmas.

We went over to Jason's sister beth's house and had a delicious Christmas breakfast. The kids played for quite a while. It was so nice to just relax for a bit and have the kids happy for most of the time!

Tyson...just happy to be outside...on a quad...and in the dirt!

Tyson and Spencer had fun riding Spencer's quads around even though it was raining and cold...it did not phase them one bit!

My adorable nephew Payton...and Nate riding on Payton's new motorcycle. He was so darn cute trying to drive and reach his little foot to the peddle. He kept getting stuck in the mud, it was so cute.

My sister and brother in law just got a wii for Christmas so the kids busted out with Mario Kart. Luckily Tyson still thinks that if he finishes the race that he won and everyone else who crossed the finish line won. He doesn't realize there are places yet. I'm hoping this lasts for a long time!

Christmas evening was over at my parents house with my parents, Grandpa, younger sister and my older sister and 3 of their 5 kids (the other two were in MN with their dad). She has twin daughter's who are 3 and boy are they busy! I don't know how she does it. The only picture I caught them in was when they were opening one of their gifts and the other cutie pie is my neice Lexie who is 7...she lost her 2 front teeth - isn't she so cute?!
Tyson finally got a webkinz! He was so excited!
Of course what would Christmas be if we didn't have at least one picture in front of a tree?!

THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS....
Ever since Jason's mom passed away we have had Christmas at our house. I think it was too hard for everyone the first Christmas without her to go back and have Christmas there so we decided to have it at our house and it's been here ever since. I love it because I love having people over especially during Christmas time. This year we simplified things a little and went the new Adam Sandler movie "Bedtime Stories" it was hilarious! A must see! I will definitely buy it when it comes out. We then went to Sweet Tomatoes for a cheap and fast meal. After we went back to our house and opened gifts and played a game. We missed Morgan and Kade this year because they got stuck up at the cabin with all the snow - so we'll have to celebrate it later when they get back.

This is the infimous Uncle Rob...he always picks out the best gifts for the kids and is the best wrapper too! The kids love getting gifts from Uncle Rob because it's always something cool...
