For the past 8 years or so we have gotten together either on Memorial Weekend or Labor Day Weekend with a group of friends whom we adore and served closely with in church several years ago. This year we almost had to cancel because we had a few families moving but we were able to pull something together and it was a fantastic weekend! We spent Friday and Saturday night with the Mallory's at the Arizona Grand...swam, played games, ate and had a lot of fun. We spent Sunday and Monday with the Cannon's and the Ruff's. This year we decided to play a few minute to win it games which turned out to be pretty fun and a little less competitive since we played couples rather than guys against girls. It can get a little crazy when we play guys against girls. Let's just say there have been no fist fights or hair pulling but...close to it! lol...We spent Monday at Wet'N'Wild and after much persuassion my kiddos finally decided to go down some water slides and guess what?! They actually liked it! I guess mom and dad were right after all? :-)

Eating out with the Mallory's
Went to the visitors center (as it is tradition!) with just our little familia and saw the newest Joseph Smith video. It is always such a humbling thing to watch what they went through. I have the utmost respect and adoration for the pioneers.
